As the Nissan Pathfinder nears the big 30, this year marked its 27th anniversary, the Japanese automaker is celebrating by giving the popular family SUV a complete overhaul. To the delight of eco-friendly drivers nationwide, that abundant redesign includes adding a hybrid variant.
Freshly minted as a crossover, due to its reinvented style, the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid rides green with a 2.5-liter engine matched with a 15kW electric motor. That flattering powertrain allows the new Nissan a 24 percent increase in efficiency over its completely gas-powered counterpart; or, 26 miles per gallon combined.
Of course, at Lithia Nissan of Eugene, we know that efficiency is an auto attribute that's unanimously preferred. Looking to match the widespread desire for fuel-economy with a driver's specific style, the Japanese automaker is offering a trio of appealing trims. Each fully loaded; motorists can select the SV, SL or premium Platinum trim.
Excitingly, the customizable features and fuel-economy won't break the bank. In fact, the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid has a starting MSRP of $31,500. And, fortunately, you won't have to wait for it long; the efficient crossover is expected to arrive at brand dealerships this year.
However, if you can't wait for the 2014 model then we certainly don't blame you. For more details on the current Nissan Pathfinder, we invite you to visit our showroom serving Eugene.
