That last time that we here at Lithia Nissan of Eugene touched base with you fine folks, Usain Bolt was zipping around in his golden 2014 Nissan GTR. Since we were already on the subject of the attention-grabbing nature of our new and used cars, we figured we'd do you one better with the story of Adam Williams.
Hailing from Carmarthen, Wales, Mr. Williams recently decided to enter himself into a contest to celebrate the recent release of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy on DVD and Bluray. The contest was the result of a collaboration between Nissan and Warner Bros., the winner of which would receive a Nissan Juke NISMO that had been customized after the Batmobile.
As it tends to go with these things, Mr. Williams didn't think much of it after he'd submitted his bid. But when the one-of-a-kind Nissan Juke NISMO rolled up to his front door in Carmarthen with Batman's Tumbler in tow, you better believe he was surprised by the win.
As for how it resemble the one-and-only Batmobile, the custom Nissan Juke NISMO comes complete with a black matte finish, 18-inch alloy wheels and a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine for evading evildoers and booking it to Gotham in record time. And just in case that wasn't enough to drive the resemblance home, it's also outfitted with a down lighters on the interior that cast the Bat Signal onto the floor.
Bruce Wayne must be green with envy.
