With a new generation comes an all-new design for the 2017 Nissan Armada, and the critics are raving. The Armada has been a fan favorite for years for its rugged construction and ample accommodations, but without a 2016 model, consumers were wondering what was up next for Nissan's strapping young SUV.
It was revealed that the 2017 Armada will come powered by a new 5.6-liter V8. Mated with a seven-speed automatic transmission, it churns out 390 horsepower for plenty of pep. The second-gen Armada boasts 73 more horsepower than the outgoing V8 model, and the transmission welcomes two additional gears for improved efficiency and ride-refinement.
